We want our crew to have an enjoyable time on-board Norröna and create great experiences for our guests.
If you join our team of waiters & bartenders, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop within our rewarded food-and beverage menus. Within these roles you will be providing excellent service and recommendations to our guests on our food and beverage offerings as well as ensuring that the restaurant & bar areas are clean and tidy.
You
It is important to us that you enjoy speaking with people and understand the importance of providing top quality service. You will be serving alcohol and therefore must be 18 years or older. Safety is very important on-board which is why you must be able to speak and understand English well.
It is a plus if you have previous experience within the field, but it is not a requirement.
Terms of employment
The positions are fixed term from March 2024 till the end of October 2024, with the possibility of an extension.
You will be working 1:1 which means for every four weeks on-board, you will have four weeks at home with full pay.
Terms of employment are according to the collective agreement between Shipowners of the Faroe Islands & The Seafarer’s Section of The Faroese Fishermen’s Union.
