Are you ready for an adventure at sea? We’re looking for a dedicated and organized individual to join our team onboard our cruise ship Norröna, starting mid-January.
We offer an exciting and rewarding job where you will have the opportunity to develop and gain thorough insight into our products, as well as experience life onboard a modern passenger ship. You will receive a warm welcome and become a part of our great team who will ensure you will feel at home.
You will be sailing 1:1, which means spending 4 weeks on board followed by 4 weeks at home with pay.
Tasks:
- Receiving goods on the deck
- Moving goods to and from the storage, and out to the different units
- Organizing the storage on board
- Monthly inventory counting
- Maintain a clean and orderly storage environment
Additionally, you’ll support our talented kitchen team by sourcing various goods and handling other essential tasks.

- Service-Oriented: Even in a bustling environment, you remain service-minded and enjoy the lively atmosphere
- Independent Worker: You excel at working independently and organizing your workday
- Flexible: Ready to work 10-hour days alongside 90-100 colleagues
- Adaptable: Comfortable with shift work and living on board for approximately 4 weeks each rotation
- A forklift license is a plus but not a requirement
Terms of employment:
The terms and conditions of employment are pursuant to the collective agreement between the trade union Føroya Fiskimannafelag and the employer’s association Reiðarafelagið fyri Handilsskip.
