About Hotel Hafnia:
Hotel Hafnia is located in the heart of Tórshavn, and guests from all over the world come to enjoy our excellent service and cozy atmosphere.

We offer:
You will, together with the head chef at Hotel Hafnia, have daily responsibility for the kitchen, including the work schedule, ordering and quality assurance of products. You will have many different tasks, and the days will be varied and exciting. The position offers great opportunities to influence the development of the kitchen and the culture at the workplace, as well as opportunities for personal and professional development.

What you can expect:

  • Leadership: You will coordinate and be responsible for the kitchen, in collaboration with our highly skilled Head Chef
  • Creative freedom: You will develop and introduce new menus and dishes that inspire both staff and guests
  • Responsibility: You will ensure that all cooking is done according to health and safety requirements
  • Development: You will guide and develop our kitchen staff so they can grow and thrive in their roles

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained chef and skilled in your craft
  • Has good communication skills
  • Is creative and interested in new cooking techniques
  • Has good knowledge of health and safety requirements in cooking
  • Is a team player with the ability to work independently
  • Is good at ensuring quality in all tasks
  • Is engaging and enthusiastic in your approach to colleagues from all departments

Terms of employment:
Salary and terms of employment are according to agreement.
