Job listings must relate to genuine employment opportunities and must not contain unlawful, misleading, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate content.

Starvsportal.fo reserves the right to reject, suspend or remove listings that violate these Terms, applicable law or the purpose of the service.

3. Publication Period and Price

The price of a job listing is calculated based on the selected publication period and any additional services selected by the customer.

The total price is shown to the customer before the order is confirmed.

The selected start and end dates form the basis of the publication period. Unless otherwise stated during the ordering process, both the selected start date and end date are included when calculating the number of publication days.

The job listing will normally remain published until the selected end date, unless it is removed earlier by the customer or by Starvsportal.fo in accordance with these Terms.

4. Ordering and Payment

The customer creates or submits the job listing and selects the desired publication period.

Before payment, the customer is shown a summary of the order and the total amount to be paid.

Payment is completed through a secure online payment process.

Once the payment has been successfully authorised and confirmed, Starvsportal.fo registers the order as paid and the job listing can be approved and published.

If payment is declined, cancelled or cannot be confirmed, the paid job listing will not be published until payment has been successfully completed.

For security reasons, payment information such as full card details is handled through the secure payment system and is not stored directly by Starvsportal.fo.

The customer will receive confirmation of the order and/or payment electronically.

5. Free Listings

Where Starvsportal.fo offers a free job listing or promotional publication, no payment is required.

Free listings may be subject to separate conditions, limitations or publication periods communicated when the listing is submitted.

6. Changes to a Job Listing

The customer may request or make reasonable corrections to a job listing during its publication period.

Changes that substantially alter the original vacancy, employer, position or publication period may be treated as a new job listing and may therefore require a new order.

Extending the publication period may result in an additional charge.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

If the customer cancels an order before the job listing has been published, Starvsportal.fo may cancel and refund the payment where reasonably possible.

Once a paid job listing has been published, payments are generally non-refundable, including where the customer fills the position before the selected publication period has ended.

If Starvsportal.fo is unable to provide the purchased service due to an error attributable to Starvsportal.fo, the customer may be offered an extension, replacement publication or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

8. Availability of the Service

Starvsportal.fo aims to keep the website and job listings available continuously but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical problems, hosting services, internet infrastructure or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Starvsportal.fo.

Short-term interruptions do not normally entitle the customer to compensation or a refund.

9. Results of a Job Listing

Starvsportal.fo provides publication and visibility of job advertisements but does not guarantee any specific number of views, applications, candidates, interviews or hires.

The customer remains responsible for its own recruitment process and for assessing applicants.

10. Applicant Information

Where applicants contact or submit information to an employer through functionality provided by Starvsportal.fo, both Starvsportal.fo and the employer must handle personal information in accordance with their respective legal obligations.

The employer is responsible for its own processing, storage and use of applicant information once that information has been received by the employer.

11. Intellectual Property

The customer retains ownership of material supplied for the job advertisement.

By submitting material to Starvsportal.fo, the customer grants Starvsportal.fo the right to use, reproduce, format and display that material for the purpose of publishing, distributing and promoting the job listing.

Starvsportal.fo’s website, branding, software, design and other proprietary material remain the property of Starvsportal.fo or its respective licensors.

12. Limitation of Liability

Starvsportal.fo is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of expected applicants, lost recruitment opportunities or other consequential losses resulting from use of the service.

Starvsportal.fo is not responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer or for decisions made by applicants or employers.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

Starvsportal.fo may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The Terms applicable to an order are generally those made available to the customer at the time the order is placed.

15. Governing Law
